Stuck on U Sketches Blog Hop and Something Tattered Valentine!!

Hello! Welcome to a cross promo blog hop from Stuck on U Sketches
Our hop goes from February 14-16,midnight to midnight.

If you came here from
Laura Gilhuly at AngelScraps, you're on the right track!
If not, head back to Stuck on U Sketches to see the sketch and start hopping!

We've all created layouts based off our February 14th sketch
and the Scraps of Darkness teams have created theirs with the awesome kits from their shop!

I also used my Something Tattered stamps with the SOUS sketch to create this vintage style Valentine:

I started with an off white canvas and stamped the background using Quick Quotes ink in "Bloody Mary" and the "April" Something Tattered stamp. On the hand-stitched muslin heart itself I used the "Nest Amour" stamp.

I loaded it up with Prima and flowers, ribbons and lace from my thrift store stash. I finished it with some pearl rope and painted the edges in Ivory acrylic paint. I love the vintage look!
Our sketches can be used for more than just traditional scrapping-think off the page!

Here are the stamp sets I used:

As you know Scraps of Darkness is our sponsor for this month's
blog candy and we are so appreciative of them!
So don't forget to join any challenge here at SOUS this month
for a chance to win that candy!

We are offering candy for this hop as well for hop participants!
A collection of Basic Grey paper and embellishments!
Blog candy winner will be announced Friday, February 21.

(sorry, North America only)

How to play?
Just visit each designer's blog and leave a comment so we know you were there!
I would love it if you became a follower of my blog!
Return to SOUS and let us know you've completed the hop!

The hop continues at

Thank you all so much for taking the time
to join this hop and hope that you'll be provided with
a ton of incredible inspiration and lots of fun!

We would also just LOVE for you to create
a project using our sketch so if you do
make sure to come back to the SOUS blog and share that with us!

Happy Hopping!
